Rainy Day Accomplishments

Well, it looks like fall weather is beginning to hit us here in Illinois. It drizzled all day, and I felt I had two choices...sleep because this weather makes me feel drowzy, or be productive.


I chose productive because no matter how badly I want to, I can't seem to take a nap for long stretches at a time, and besides, napping makes me feel worse. Besides, days like this seem to be made for sitting by a picture window, watching it rain, and creating something in rhythm with the sound of raindrops hitting the window. (That sounded rather poetic, didn't it?)

I also made a William Shakespeare, and have gotten started on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, but I'll have to wait on hubby to do some sawing on the clothespins so they will be short enough!


All in all, a pretty productive day. Who says we need fair weather to have fun?
