What Do You Listen To?
When I am working on a project, I can't really stand silence. Perhaps it is because having four teens in the house has conditioned me to think that if all is silent, someone is up to something ...
Well, at any rate, I like a bit of inspiration going while I am designing. I invested in a portable DVD player some time ago, and now I don't know what I'd do without it! I watch old t.v. shows on it, such as I Love Lucy and old black and white movies. My latest thing is listening to Andrea Bocelli sing in his latest concert on DVD...I have to tell you, I am in sheer creative heaven listening to it! (Although I have no idea what he is singing about for the most part, I could care less...he sings so beautifully you can feel almost what he is singing!)
What do you listen to when you are doing something?

Hi!
Are you talking about Andrea Bocelli's Under The Desert Sky? I LOVE it! I also like to listen to Josh Groban, some of the Gaither DVD's, and Wintley Phipps. When I just want the music, I love jazz, and African music. South, and West Africa the most. Lately, we have been listening to Christmas music.
I either have the news on, or I listen to music. I prefer 70's rock to anything else :-)
Actually, I was referrign to his Live in Tuscany dvd...it has Kenny G, Sarah Brighton, Lang Lang and some others that do things with him...very good indeed!
When Im doing things in the kitchen I love listening to Oldies.Especially the love songs. That would be the 80s.Im getting old I think LOL
music is inspiring and relaxing! when I'm beading lanyards i enjoy allison krauss, the eagles, nickel creek, smoky mountain hymns, and celtic tunes! my dog enjoys them too!
I cant work in silence either. It drives me crazy! I have to have either the TV on or some music from the computer - like Enya, Enigma or Stings "Desert Rose"
